Exit 42 - Mindless Driving filled with comparative analysis

I have been at home all weekend. This was a labor day weekend. Since I was in Boston last week, I took it easy this weekend.
Its 5 o'clock!!. Still pondering on what to do.. Nothing better than getting in the car and driving mindlessly except for observing the street signs and traffic lights.
I took off on Interstate 77 -North at 5:30. Popped in XM - 84. This radio station is one of my favorites because it plays a blend of world and rock music.
I keep driving and I am atleast 15 miles outside Charlotte and think of taking a random exit. Its exit 42 and I swerve my car into the exit lane onto the ramp. I pull over a Shell gas station and walk in to grab a sugar free Red bull. As I am paying off, the lady at the register, acting phonetically proficient tried to pronounce my name. She got it right thought. She ended up striking a conversation with me about my ethnicity and was very intrigued about my eating habit. She was baffled when I told her that I was an Indian and ate everything from Poultry to Cow products.
I get into m y car and drive off the gas station towards east pf I77. As I am driving, I come across several towns. I cross Statesville, NC. As I keep driving besides corn farms through littel towns, I roll my window. As soon as I roll my window, I get a waif of fresh breeze. The smell of rolled cylindrical hay stacks reminds me of drive testing days through North Dakota. Driving the countryside of America is always an amazing experience. I keep driving and pass statesville. I am now in a pensive mood and my mind is wandering aimlessly towards comparitive thoughts of living in a city and country.
I am thinking about these farm people who do not have to worry about getting up in the morning and driving through the polluted maize of city roads. They do not have to think about staring the computer screens all day long like the city people do. Instead their life is harder. Getting up in the morning and make sure the farm is takem care off. To make sure the crops are not infected by rats and the pesticides are sprayed regularly. The do not have to worry about driving through to get to work but have to worry about keeping their farms healthy.
I keep driving into the country almost 30 miles towards Wikesboro. I take a pitt stop to buy another energy drink. This time I buy a sugar free Rockstar..It smelled and tasted similar to Red bull. Often I wonder why Red Bull is so expensive as compared to its competitors.
I turn around and drive back to Charlotte. As I drive back, I see the sun setting. The picturesque view of the farm with the dusk in the background is magnificent. In my heart, I feel I am blessed to have a beautiful view of the country. I wish I had a camera to take pictures.
As I am driving back, I keep thinking about how can I make myself more creative. I often wonder what makes a person creative. Does he think analytically or critically to make him think of new ideas.
I still need to figure!!!
I am planning on buying a new camera. I am still debating if it would be a NIKON or a SONY. I need to do a comparative analysis on technical specs and then do a cost analysis. I think I would be spending a little more since I would keep this camera for years.
So hang tight. My next blogs would have pictures and I owuld be posting some creative thoughts associated with each picture. Let me see if my left brain can be put into action!!!
