Conducting a meeting - pointers
1. Starting and conducting a meeting with a purpose and ending it with a plan to move forward.
2. Pick a leader
3. Stay small and break the tasks. Attendees should be kept to a bare minimum so that they are manageable.
4. Direct , don't dominate
Encourage other, especially juniors to talk.
5. Lay down the tasks
Decisions are being made, who is taking notes.
6. Encourage arguments. It leads to innovation.
7. Follow up with a group email - notes and tasks assigned.
