I have been thinking about multi prong approach to make India as a creative Strategic thinker.
1. Financially Strong and competetive
2. Military Strong
3. Cyber Strong
4. Enviornmentally Sound
5. Linking universities in India via a Internet-III mechanism

All of the 5 conditions above hold a lot of research potential for a country of one billion. Lets begin with the 5th option.

Its imperative for all the universities in India to be connected via the internet. A mechanism which was implemented in 1970;s in the US. This would include a tiered approach. Connecting the Core IITs with the second tier RECs and with the thrid tier state and the fourth tier private universities.
This has a strong potential of creative brainstorming and coming up innovative ideas and implemetation of ideas on a single platform.
A professor in IIT can generate a concept using his thoughts and can trickle it down to specialized university like REC for creating a architecture which further can trickle it down to private universities to implement the concept.
Concept--- Plan and Prepare--- Execution. A three layered approach to come up with a product which can also be reversed by thought process generated in a Engineering univeristy in Sambhalpur Madhya pradesh and implemented in Trichi.

4. Enviornmentally Sound

The people in India need to set up volunteer groups and involve Media and the governement to generate awareness about a pollution free INDIA.

If a professor in US, deep inside Arkansas (49th state) can perform research on how to earn dividend using mathematical approach, one can only imagine the strong fundamentals and emphasis the United States basis on its Unviersities.
The amount of financial models created in the US is by far un comparable to any other place on the planet. If a country of 330 Million can work on it.
So can a country of a Billion!!!
We arent far when we would have our version of derivatives, Treasury stocks.
