Re: Blue Ocean Strategy in Play

Today was an interesting day. The morning started with me going to a sales meeting at my company.
We had a RA-RA marketing session for about an hour and it was followed with a Q&A session.
I put up one of the questions to the presenter. In complying with the blue ocean strategy should we leave the little players off the competition.
Our business is so intense in terms of accuqiring customers. It is almost a gureilla warfare. The recessive economy is making it even worse where there is a price war every quarter.
Should we stop thinking about little players in our business and let them grow and become monsters one day and prey on our already established customer base!!!

LOST WORDS
---------------------
. a sudden loss of consciousness resulting when the rupture or occlusion of a blood vessel leads to oxygen lack in the brainCorrect word: (a) apoplexy

My friend had an accident after the drunk driver hit him in the head. The injuries were so brutal that he had gone in the state of apoplexy even before he reached the hospital.

n. a feeling of evil to come; presentimentCorrect word: (c) boding

On my trip back from Dallas, TX to Little Rock, AR, I could see the flow of dense black clouds eastwards. Every little town I passed, I was boding of a disaster ripping the livelihood of people living there
